The Krewe of Chameleons Mardi Gras club, based in Fort
Walton Beach, Florida was formed in September 2006
by a group of nine women, referred to as our
"founders". We are an all women's krewe and the men
serve as our "mates". The mission
of the krewe is to bring together people with
similar interests for the purpose of having fun,
sharing camaraderie, fostering a spirit of
friendship and provide assistance wherever needed
to local charities. The members are are from all
levels of the business community.
We
participate in the Fort Walton Beach City's
Christmas Parade, Fort Walton Beach Chamber of
Commerce's Mardi Gras Parade on the Island, Krewe
of Jesters Parade in Navarre, and the Billy
Bowlegs Parade put on by the Fort Walton Beach
Chamber of Commerce.
Our krewe supports the Emerald Coast
Foundation, Children
in Crisis, Okaloosa Walton Homeless Continuum
of Care, and Cerebral Palsy organizations.
